Amazingly, it will somehow look uglier than the EX and QX, no small feat.

i couldn't buy that car based on its name alone. the "fx" just sounds very unsophisticated and stupid. it's something that is always short for "effects", and they named a car that? duh! i always associated the acura mdx with the crappy subs "mtx". just never thought that would be a good name for an suv.

Sorry that is a reality Infiniti has. They have the letters NO ONE on wheel of fortune would pick, unless you want Vanna and Pat to laugh at your dumbass. Well, if they do have a letter that is borderline decent, they share it with someone else.

Based on this fotos i feel it will look really good. The proportions seems to be better than the current model. I looks to have better visibility and more interior room. One think i don't like is the headlights. I wished they would end where the amber markers begin. I'm really looking forward to see what the interior will be like, if the EX is any indication it will also be class leading. I'm also very curious to know what powertrains will be available. hopefully Infiniti will announced the rumored diesel engine

LS sounds like a S-Class rip-off, the GS sounds like a Buick Regal rip-off, the ES and IS both sound like cheap low-class cars, and SC sounds completely unimaginative. LX, RX, and GX are all contrived meaningless letters with no continuity in model range.
Making comments about how letters sound is about as dumb as people saying that the IS-F = IS-FAILURE.

We may have seen what it looks like, but I am more interested in specs and the interior. And I figure this place being so heavily populated with dash strokers, people would wait for the interior before completely banishing it, spy pics and all.

Given Infiniti's recent interiors, I don't think there will be much to complain about there. The G was a step in the right direction, and the EX is a class leader, and the FX will probably be a step above it. Shame they Gary Busey'd the exterior.

The interior's much nicer and I love the new powetrains and technology but I really don't like what they did to the front end. The fender vents are kind of iffy too but at least they are functional.

Some nice features too!
7-speed auto, CDC, 390HP VVEL V8, Rear-Active Steer, & ATTESA E-TS, etc.
Distance Control Assist sounds like it will completely stop and start the car in traffic.

Yea I don't think I like the tacked on chrom side vents. If anything, they should've left it out or left it body colored.
