Add some exhaust tips and it looks like a dirty BMW. This car has some potential.

Looks like a 5 series, I don't get it why in the world would they want to copy such an ugly car?

Because it's one of the most popular, best-selling luxury cars on the road today?
Why does this have camo on the sides? Pictures of the car have been out for many months. When is it coming out anyway? It seems like it's been nearly 3 years since we started seeing spy shots and videos of Hyundai's "upcoming RWD sedan".

Does anyone else think "That reminds me of the Countach replica kit built on a Fiero frame."One of these things is not like the other...

Well, developing the first LS400 took seven years, but there was no Internet to bitch about the development time back then.
The V6 versions go on-sale in June. The V8 follows in August.

I'm just excited to finally see/drive a new Genesis, but as the saying goes, time goes by so slowly for those who wait. Either way, it looks very promising!

True, though Hyundai is also launching a luxury franchise. Just...not here. At least, not yet.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the new 3.0-L S-Diesel in the Genesis, and with the power that engine puts down, that would be a very cool car.

the grill looks like someone's ribcageDirectly from the back it's got a little bit of 5 series and 3 series. Munich will not be happy (and also of their interpretation of the hoffmeister kink).
Once you get to the 3/4 shot you can tell very clearly it's not German. German design tend to tuck in a bit more, taper it a bit more.. and not have such wide and square corners.
What amazes me though...has Korea, in designing their FIRST 'luxury car', made something to resemble the German presence? This is something that took Japan ages (boy have they tried and tried again look at the new Accord) and not come very close.

i really like this car, i just wish they went with the other grille instead of the klingon forehead one![]()

It's too BMW-esque from the rear, but still handsome.I don't like the Klingon Benz grill, though.
There are no old Porsches - just new owners.

The auto show was a couple months ago and I asked specifically and they only had brochures for it. My dad wanted to see what it looked like as he is looking for a new car.

Lawd hav murcy I think a VIP Genesis sedan will look sooo sick![]()

I know its fickle, but without seeing the H badge on the back connecting it to lesser models, the car looks much more appealing.

Funny you should post these, because I saw that car on M-14 a few days ago. It looked like an S-Class BMW 5 series. Derivative much.

Nice...They had a pre-production Genesis at the auto-show locked up, but I convinced the Hyundai girl to let me i for a bit... very nice
