Remove the matts and change the wheels is all it needs. Those wheels are bad arse but look wrong on that car.

Remove the stereo and the needlessly tasteless wheels and you're good to go.

Whats that hairdresser doing with a GN? Poor, poor car.

  12. 04-23-2008 11:17 PM #12
If it's a WE4, it's not a Grand National. The Grand Nationals were option WE2.

    http://www.buickwe4.com/story.htm

Small consolation, as the car looks hideous.

i lvoe all the people saying its hidious. If the wheels where nicer, the mats gone and the speakers gone they would all be WOWOMZSOHOT and all that ****. It would take no work to bring that car back to a better looking state.

You may be right, as I don't think the digital dash was an option on the GN.

You're crazy. It would take under an hour to make the car look stock. I like the wheels.

That is EXTREMELY far from the truth. There are alot of parts missing and stuff that is incorrect on that car. I'm a loyalist naziwhen it comes to these owning one myself. Alot of small things like the bumper rub strips from a non-GN bumper, etc.

There is a TCL member with a bone stock GN that looks 10x better than this. Plus his was presumably not owned by a pole smoking attention whore.

    Two things:

    1) I don't think it looks bad at all. WCC has done far worse.

    2) The very next anti-homosexual comment that gets posted will end this thread. Some of you need to grow up.

How do you make a turbo Buick suck even more? Why, cut out what little structural integrity there was that came with the fixed roof

Since they were first created. Soggy handling? Check. Pre-faded brakes? Check. Jell-o-like body structure? Check.

They're good for one thing, and only one thing: running quarter miles. Shame, then, that they have this nasty tendenancy to lift at the end of it...

Well, they don't suck for people who want to run the 1/4 mile then...which is why most people would buy them. In the same way, a Miata would "suck" to someone who enjoyed drag racing, but would be heaven for someone who likes to AutoX. Different cars are built for different purposes...

it would be relatively easy to de-douche that car.

    id rock it afterwards.

You do realize that some GNs came with T-tops, right?

I don't think it is that bad - it could be taken back to a pretty stock appearance with just a wheel swap.

Past/Current: Buick, Mitsubishi, Geo, Chrysler, Dodge, Porsche, Land Rover, VW, Nissan, Cadillac, Ford, GMC
Future: Alfa Romeo GTV, Lotus Esprit, Audi TT, 240Z, Lancer Evo VIII RS, Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II,
Hudson Hornet, Porsche 964, Mini Cooper, Caterham SV, M-B CLS63 AMG, Lambo Miura SV

Other than the wheels and floor mats, it looks bone stock. How is that "ugly" as claimed above?
