I would take it, but the phone in the console looks incredibly tacky. I'll save my $210k, thanks.

Enough to not justify all the people that keep saying "IT IS THEY BIGGEST COLLECTOR PORSCHE ITEM" "MOST SOUGHT AFTER PORSCHE, PEOPLE DIE FOR THIS!"heh if you ask me most Porsche owners think it looks out of place, the colour is way to out there to be classy imo.

I believe he has another 993, same color... Carrera 4... last 993 off the assembly line. If nothing else, I'd sell the car above and buy a Turbo S of a different color... so that I didn't have two cars in my collection that were the same color
.
Matt Train bought a new Volkswagen... true story.

Modified by hsk at 8:11 PM 7-13-2008I think it would be more like this.
"99% - My old buddy Jerry, told me that he is running out of space in his 3rd garage".
"1% - .... and so I happened, to have a wee bit of space between my 356 and 250GTO, so I decided to help the guy".

Typical Porsche owners, yes, you're probably right. Porsche collectors are a different story...

Quote, originally posted by DeeJoker » Why does it keep coming up for sale? A couple of people have had owned the car after seinfield, each trying to make a profit.
This is a collector piece, not because it was owned by seinfield. It is a collector piece because its the 1 of 180 993 Turbo S cars, and the only in that color. I believe it was the last Built as well. Lastly, along with the 993 GT (which wasnt sold in the states), it is the pinacle of Air Cooled porsche street cars.
This is a car (if kept in the same condition with extremely low mileage) that will fetch big big big bucks @ barret jackson 10-15 years from now.

Just so those of your wondering can stop wondering, the official color name is Riviera Blue.
I had a witty signature before but it's gone now.
I like cupcakes.
I also like orange juice.
See what I'm reduced to?
