Fortunately it's all OEM BMW Performance Stuff so it's warrantied and fits well. I kinda dig it, but that's a lot of coin.

Somehow, I dont' find the pricing to be that offensive. Given how much BMW charges for the wheels, carbon fiber pieces, and the steering wheel on top of the custom paintwork (looks amazing), they are probably only (by BMW dealer standards) overcharging for it by four or five grand, which can easily be haggled down.

12k for CF mirrors/CF spoiler/flat black hood/flat black vinyle strips / Texas flag![]()

It's a replica of the Tii shown earlier this year. I don't really see what the big deal is other than that it's overpriced and has a dumbass name stuck on it.The stripes and hood aren't my thing, but they're not that bad.

Where's that picture of the pile of **** with a BMW badge on it?It is needed.

does that steering wheel come with shift indicators built into it??

It's pretty cool, but it's more money than I would spend for a gadget.

Still not worth it, buy a used M3

Quote, originally posted by AE2058 » Still not worth it, buy a used M3
You don't get it. Someone who wants this car doesn't want a used M3, they want a fully loaded 135i that's been hopped up with tii parts. Performance will be on par with the E46 M3 but the 135i is brand new and comes with a warranty. I'd pass on the stripes, mirror covers, delete the rear seats, and install the tii front seats and roll bar with 7-point harnesses.
#17
Ugly car, and it's not orginal at all. I like the spoiler on the car though, and I'm sure someone will buy this car.
#19
They should have painted the roof and the rear decklid.Other than that little gripe, and the rear decal (easily removeable), I like it.
#20
I'm not going to buy it. I suggest you people whining about it not buy it either![]()

I'm not going to buy, its a few figures over my budget, but its awesome!
#22
I have a feeling that if it didn't have the stripe or the name badge all most everyone would dig this car.
#23
I actually like the car. The girlie handwriting on the sticker, however, makes me cringe.....
I mean, I loved the 80's too, but you don't see me doing lines off the hood of a Delorean.....

heh I found it funny when these performance parts were announced how everyone in TCL was so happy and said it was amazing (especially the suspension, steering wheel and seat upgrade)now it's all considered rice

If it had an actual painted hood in flat black all the way around (some of the actual pics show that the underside is white), if it had the $$$ BMW performance seats like the real tii, if it had the actual BMW performance wheels, and CF interior trim then I'd say it would actually be worth the price premium. All those parts are genuine BMW and are honored by BMW's warranty.

I'm not really sure what the issue is with displaying the cost of the parts and labor to install them.![]()
They're showing retail price, which no one pays for those parts, and the tint is a little high, but other than that the labor is reasonable and they're discounting everything at the end.
#28
I love how it's $12,472.42 for the performance package. The lack of rounding means it can't possibly be a money grab.

They use some pretty nasty adhesive. It took about 3 hours to do mine. Removing the factory spoiler is a PITA, and then the thing has to be prepped, test fit, masked, and then installed. It's a little on the high side but it's not outrageous.

Hey, that's at my roommates dealership, Classic BMW in Dallas. I remember him telling me about it the other day. They put that Texas flag on every car they sell.

Wouldn't by it for UNDER $12k MSRP
