For whatever reason, I thought we were talking about the Sentra SE-R Spec-V.

They can't make it any more powerful without upgrading the transmission, which they probably don't want to invest in.Just my guess.

Same here, that's because GT-R is suppose to use V-spec, NOT Spec V

If that is the case then Nissan had better remove about 300 pounds of weight!

Yeah, me too. As someone already said, the GT-Rs have always been V-Spec so it's an easy assumption to make.
Why is that anyway? Why aren't they both either Spec-V or V-Spec? Why doesn't Nissan just use one or the other?

Also, what does the V really mean/stand for?

The GT-R is destroying The Car Lounge.

I am the carchitect. You are here because the The Big Three are about to be destroyed. Rest assured this is the sixth time we have destroyed them. As the ZR-1, you are an anomaly. Ergo you must chose 16 Miatas and 7 E30s to rebuild your ability to produce record track times at the ring. Through one door lies a government bailout and the salvation of your kind, through the other the MkIV forums. Apropos the problem is choice...

Me too, but I'd actually prefer that the story be about the Sentra. My interest in the GT-R couldn't be lower.

I was looking forward to a Sentra thread and got suckered into another failboat GTR thread. Insert transmission joke here.
I use the Ignore function on here liberally. Just an FYI.

I can't see a monarocountry dude post in this thread yet. He must have been blindsided by the thread title too.
