Thanks d00ds. Fernando, I have a set of 18x9 +35 you can test-fit but they're not the wheels you want.

But, replica wheels may have a variable size, depending on manufacturer.

i'm in the market for a used set of LMs that need to be refinished. i haven't gone through every page in this thread, but just some general questions i don't have the answers to at this point:1. do you have to contact BBS directly to get the tool to take them apart? or where could you pick one up?
2. do you need to buy new bolts when reassembling everything?

got the answers i needed from pg. 14![]()

Nice work. I'm about to do the same with mine! ....what did you use to strip the clear on the lip?? And did you only need that mothers polish to get them that shiny?? I have a powerball so that should help speed up the process!

thanks...
i use regular paint stripper from ace hardware or any auto motive store..
i start with 400 them 800,1000,1500, then 2000 grit went sanding then finished it off with a cotton pad on a 3/8 drill variable speed... any other touch ups i did by hand... no power balls
very labor intensive work

Stupid question now, but no reps spilt down, or a cast monoblock wheel?

Damn bro, you definitely put the work in! Why didn't you just use rouge?? That's what I'm planning on using instead of the power ball/metal polish. Was the sanding for removing the clear as well?? ...or just polishing?? My old RS lips were already stripped when I got them and rouge got them looking like this
...sorry for the non-LM content, but I think it goes with the polishing questions everyone is having. Red - to start, grey - second, then White to finish. Turned out pretty good:

Can any measure the diameter of the centers on their 17" LM? You could measure the diameter from the edge of the spokes or the diameter of the full center section . I want to see if 17" centers fit in 18" barrels. My 18" barrels measuer 15" for the spoked sections and 16.5" for the entire center. Thanks!
