ya I know kinda want too.. But kinda dont. The lack of room in the truck and the 3" exhaust kinda puts a huge damper on everything. I have had a 84 nissan 2wd pickup (720) with a 3" exhaust and they are rediculously loud. But from my experience the z24 is a good motor.. so IDK.

So put a muffler on the truck, this is neither hard or expensive.

I'd keep what you have. That truck sounds like a white trash POS. While the car may be the same at least it is quiet, runs well, has room, and you know what you have.

well I just checked out the truck. Its decent. Paint is garbage. It runs/drives good. Its extremely loud and backfires if you take it up into the revs (no cat or muffler). But a deal killer for me was the fact it doesn't have license plates only a trip permit that expires in a week... I dont have 200 bucks right now to fix that so most likely going to blow off this one.

Z24 is an excellent motor in the 720, It is completely bullet proof. I would definitely do the trade, reupholstering a bench seat is very easy - and that sounds like the only issue with it... You can easily get the exhaust replaced for ~$250 at a local exhaust shop.

it is.. I would of picked it up if it wasn't for the fact it doesn't have plates and the trip permet expires in a week.. my plates are good till july of 2011... I can't afford to get the truck plates and registered any time soon (thats about 200 bucks now in oregon after the 54 dollar increase).. If I had the money I would still of done the trade.

Trade for the truck, buy junkyard bucket seats and muffler. Then get a welder buddy to pimp your ride.
