How to create a SEARCH link?
To help provide further assistance to your fellow enthusiasts on the forums or even if you just want to bookmark a search so you can run again and again.To create a link to a specific search, you will need to add modifiers to the regular search link:
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerosearch?&cmd=search ;query=
text you want to search. (Use + signs between words if you want all words included) ;creator=
author's name ;disp=
T - Topic Titles (Return a thread listing, faster)
P - Post Bodies (Return a post listing, slower) ;arch=
0 - Recent content
1 - Archived content ;forum=
The forum number is obtained from the end of the URL at the root of any forum.
Example the Passat CC forum is 1062 http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=1062 1 - The Car Lounge
11 - Golf & Jetta I
26 - Audi A4 (B5)
