I think the xB realized how gay it looked so it caught itself on fire.

I'm loving the remains of the "We Care About Your Vehicle" paper floor mat.

It's still a rolling lunchbox with a leaf blower bolted to the engine.

Don't like where this is going.

What was the TSB supposed to fix?

What had he done? It's not immediately apparent on that scion board, and the pic looks pretty stock besides the wheels.

This is why if you mod your car it's important to have an agreed value insurance policy or an explicit rider that states X dollars of aftermarket equipment will be covered above and beyond the book value of the car. Either that or self-insure the risk yourself and pay out of pocket when things like this happen. It's too time consuming and difficult to fight a reluctant insurance company. Depending on the insurance company and the dealer, it could be very difficult to recoup the loss.

Wow... did I click into the mkIV forums accidently?

The number of people acting like pimple faced adolescents threw me off.

Back OT, what happened? I'm at work & can't follow the link to the other forum.

Inquiring minds want to know!

Well technically they fixed the problem. He won't have to worry about any creaking A-pillar anymore. This reminds me of the old saying about pets and veterinary care.

"So my brother-in-law told me they recently spent $2000 on total hip replacement for their dog. I had to remind him that is $1900 more than total dog replacement."

I hate the NEW xB, but the ORIGNAL ONE is sharp. Especially that white ony.

There, fixed it for you. You're probably the only person who actually likes the new xB after it gained an unsightly 500ish lbs of ugly fat...

i feel exactly the opposite, and the fact that the old one was thiftly and economical, and the new one drinks like my jetta vr6 kills it for me.

I'm eager to drive/ride in the new one and see how it compares. I've been in the old xB, and it was loud, buzzy, uncomfortable, anemic, and not particularly a great handler. Seemed to be a car for masochists. 550lbs of refinement seems worth it to me.

Too bad about the fuel economy suffering with the new one, but even gas mileage wouldn't justify the crappy experience I had driving the old xB.

Nope, I like the new one too...though I like the originality of the xB1 better.
