im pretty sure you are right. they were on that MKIII in the mid west, then they came to pittsburgh and my buddy mikey put them on his car, then sold the car to another buddy, then he sold them to dave, and now you have them. i think theyve been on atleast one other car too

Yes these are the same wheels. There were on a black mk3 in CA also I believe. Specs are 16x8 ET20 with 205/40's.
