It's impossible to calculate the full impact of John Hughes' 1986 feel-good flick, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but sitting on the steps of Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois, I think I'm pretty close to a full accounting. There I am, in the exact spot where Sloane Peterson thanked Mr. Rooney for his "warmth and compassion," staring at a rosso corsa Ferrari 250, when a white Kia Rio obstructs my view and breaks the line of saliva connecting my mouth to the concrete steps below. The window rolls down, and a high schooler pops his head out. "Whoaaa, this is like a scene straight out of Ferris Bueller!" Full Story...
but I just noticed one thing - In the main article it is mentioned the engine is sourced from a 750, but in the graphic explaining all the parts it says it comes from a 760

So I can afford it, does that mean that I can keep it from being a necrophilic experience, too?

I made a reposter out of Don Wimbledonio? I'm gonna go buy some fireworks, an Amtrak full of hookers, and get my own unicorn. Ride it around downtown, show people what's up. S**t's on.
The above is an excerpt from the best selling book Band of Boozers, a heroic tale of ordinary alcoholics thrown together in an extraordinary time. Experience this harrowing Wino War II tale as only those that drank it can slurr.
When we were heading down Irving Park Road, an old man stopped mid-crosswalk to gawk at the car, and came within six inches of being taken out by a CTA bus.
Looks great guys!!! and yeah I know - it needs the headlight covers and trim rings, but we made the covers and they just don't fit right yet. I kinda felt better to not install them until they look right or it detracts from the car. If I was able to I'd just buy perfect ones, but the car has been modified to the point that nothing just fits right out of the box. I'll take a subscription too if you ever go print!!! Stu and the guys from Motive, thank you for including us in your new site, sorry we didn't have time for all of you to get seat time, but in the future we would be happy to allow it Also keep us in mind when you have other features that our cars might fit with.
Sure, it's a replica, and of a different model of Ferrari, but talk about using your locale to its fullest! Incorporating the visit to "Cameron's house" was the pinnacle for me...More than almost anything, I simply love sitting and talking cars with people like you guys did with the owner of the house. That, was an experience of a lifetime, boys...I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did reading about it!
A video? closest I have is carscoop edited a few clips. Just 1st and 2nd gear in Mall parking lot, but at least you can see it and hear it moving a bit. We still need to upload some highway video at speed and taking off from 70 or so http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf2KN1gqZWc Chelle
The replica looks amazing, very nice job to the builders on their work of art that I understand is still in progress.
I would love to see more of Cameron's house, I've always loved that home and garage. I still dream about building something like that someday. . . if I ever have the means.
Damn I suddenly feel old, it seems like just yesterday I was in high school and my buddies and I went to see this at the movies when it came out.
