 Mitsubishi Concept-cX leaked« »

Quote »
We just told you about Mitsubishi's upcoming Concept-cX that we'll be seeing next month in Frankfurt, but someone found an actual image of the car, rather than a sketch, so we'll update our gallery to share it with you.

The Concept-cX sports a Lancer-like snout on a hatchback-style body with an upward-sweeping character line along its flanks. The crossover vehicle is Euro 5 emissions-compliant, powered by a 1.8L clean diesel engine that features a variable-geometry turbocharger, a diesel oxidation catalyst, and a diesel particulate filter.

The economical powerplant is mated to Mitsubishi's twin-clutch transmission, and its interior will make use ofenvironmentally-friendly Green Plastic. The 13-foot-long CUV also uses an electronic 4WD system and incorporates an SUV-style high seating position. No cargo capacity numbers have been given yet, but Mitsubishi did say that a split tailgate is used at the rear of the vehicle. The "photo" looks like it could be a rendering, but it shows a slightly less aggressive vehicle than the sketches. We'll keep you posted as more information on this Concept-cX becomes available and add live shots of it from next month's Frankfurt show.

Not a bad-lookin' little critter. Reminds me of a bulldog dipped in teal paint.

Looks like a C30 crossed with a scIROCco

Not that that is a bad thing, though...

The advantage to buying a higher-mileage model is that you can buy the car in two payments -- the first is for the initial purchase and the second is for your mechanic's retirement fund.
