Mechanically identical to the M3 Coupe, BMW's M3 sedan - returning after nearly a decade-long hiatus - has been updated with the same parts that set the coupe apart from its lesser brethren.
The forward sheetmetal apes the coupe, with a slightly longer front end than the normal sedan and an aluminum, bulged hood. The front fenders incorporate gills with M-color accent stripes, the door mirrors have been swapped out for the coupe's swooping post-mounted items, and bulging side sills enhance the car's stance. On the trunklid is a small rear spoiler and the rear bumper has an integrated diffuser and four exhaust tips.
BMW hasn't mentioned price or availability of the sedan for North America yet, but we've been told to expect a sticker around $60,000. Stay tuned for more information as it comes available.
VF:I remember being a care-free kid, wearing the finest clothes, pissing away money, driving fun cars, going anywhere I wanted to go, living life like there was no tomorrow. OO: You should have seen the investing and saving I did when I was a kid! I was really tearing it up!
I'd take this over the coupe any day. But DAMN if those bumpers aren't ugly. I'd swap them with regular 3-series bumpers so fast. I wonder if that's even possible, though, with the longer front end and quad exhaust.
"My man with the rasta got the best green pasta..."
Sort of odd and grumpy looking. That thing is going to cost around 65K. I can't think of any car around that price range that is so ordinary looking. Put it next to a Nissan GTR and it would look like a car made for grocery shopping.

Now having seen the whole thing, I can definitively say:
I'll admit, I LOLed.
I know it's a horribly predictable response, but I still HATE Bangle styling. I miss the old BMW. I'm sure it's great to drive, but the look kills it for me.
If I had to have a German high-performance sedan I would take the C63 or wait for the new S4.
but in terms of exterior styling the M3 is not as sharp as the C63 AMG or RS4 sedan IMO.
It isn't as nice, but while I really like the C63....the more I look at the front the more I think the bumper is a tad busy looking.
The one good thing about the M3, is that I'm sure it will have a killer residual that the C63 (and of course the RS4) won't have. So leasing one should be more attractive if that is something one wants to do.
For the most part. If memory serves, it's also the cucumber capital of Japan. Hence the home-market ads for the FT-86 featuring Takeichi-kun, the cartoon cucumber whose meteoric rise through the underground drift world has shamed him in the eyes of his school-master.

Congrats... a 50,000 dollar car would beat my 35,000 dollar car. Proves nothing!
I'd still rather have mine because:
a) I'm not elderly
b)
What did I say about refined? It lacked in that department, the new interior is just about the best in class.
You have to be joking? You think Cadillac is only for elderly people these days? Sorry, that stereotype carries very little weight anymore.
I only mentioned your car, because you bad mouthed the Cadillac. When the fact remains, the A3 is a completely overpriced vehicle. I've driven it, not impressed (6cyl DSG).
i'd hit it without hesitation, and for all of you that says it's ugly and yada yada yada, im sure u forgot it's an M3, just like the people that buy vipers and vettes must be crazy since their interior is horrid
