Between the frozen asphalt, the slush cakes in our fenders, and the permanent salt spray on our paintwork, winter in a northern climate can be hell on earth for us driving enthusiasts. But what are we going to do about it — park our pristine sleds in the garage and take public transit for four turns of the calendar? Hell, no! We're going to take advantage of these miserable conditions to hone some driving skills. And not just the same lame-ass handbrake stunts we've been pulling since high school. It's time to learn some real car control. It's time to step up and master the Scandinavian Flick...
Awesome. I've pretty much mastered the Scandinavian Flick on semi sticky snow but still not on gravel and on slick ice. I think I need to practice more. It is really rewarding when you pull it off and carry a lot of speed through a corner.
And I love the use of a model/die cast GT3 RS with NO DRIVER!!!

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
The whole thing looks a little... um... diecast to me.
We actually had a lot of fun with the conceptual layout for this one. We wanted it to look kind of real, but not entirely. Hence, the obviously fake trees and no driver photoshopped into the car. I tried to find an area where we could shoot a real car, but the plow crews were too efficient after last week's snow.
This is just repurposed content from other sources with no real indication that the author can perform said flick. Whatever. Perhaps it's just the children who have any interest in this crap.

Said driver seemed to drift pretty well in the Viper video... My money says Bryan could do it.

I have personally seen Bryan flog unfamilar cars around a race track. Trust me, he is capable of doing damn near anything with a car.
Bryan, looks like fun, but you really should try that in my F150.
Coming soon: A tow vehicle with some real firepower. 1986 Bayliner 2450 Ciera Sportcruiser / Volvo Penta AQ260A/275SP
Go to the motivemag.com homepage. Halfway down the page there's a video box that says Motive Vision in the top corner. Click the little "select video" box and choose the Viper.

I've seen him do it with my own GTI. Utter Bastard.
The way some posters go on around here, most features won't be believed without a full video and a DNA test. You can't really SEE Bryan behind the wheel of that Viper, MUST be Viergang stunt driving omghi2uohnoes!!!ZOMG!11!1
