When dropping a few hundred large on a sports car from Lamborghini, buyers will now be able to specify their own trim and color options through a new program that was introduced today called Ad Personam. In addition to Lamborghini's already manifold choices of colors and leathers, Lamborghini has added the option for a natural, untreated leather that is designed to discolor and gloss as it ages. Nearly thirty-five years after the introduction of MB-Tex, a nearly magical leatherette invented by the Germans that looks like new after decades of wear, the Italians install leather that allows your car to take on a patina of the unique snowflake that is your ass as it ages. Which, geopolitically speaking, sums up both countries pretty economically.
On display at Detroit are a Gallardo Spyder in Marrone Apus — the black/brown matte color originally shown on the Reventón — and a Murciélago LP640 Roadster and Coupe in Blu Cepheus, a shade of deep blue inspired by the color of polar ice. Click above for the full press release!

I live in Michigan and those cars were on the showroom floor at the Troy dealership before they went to NAIAS ( I know the dealer). The blue is really close to the Detroit Lions Honolulu Blue, except it has metallic in it. The dealer didn't even want to sit on the untreated leather because of the chance that he would stain it with skin oils. They look really nice in person, I love the color.
If you go on the Lambo boards, there was a guy who wanted a Superleggera in Green metallic (verde ithica) and they shot him down. So much for a myriad of choices. Maybe there more open since this new program was introduced, but he put in the request no more than a couple months ago and they said no. Superleggera is offered in white, orange, black, grey and yellow.
That color does not suit the Gallardo at all...needs to be bright and colorful.

"Come on people! Do you know what you get when you use a flame thrower on a zombie? Freakin' flaming zombies. And if theres anything that sucks more than a zombie trying to eat you, its a zombie on fire trying to eat you."
I absolutely love those colors if i was to buy one, i would get matte brown with the interior from a blue one. i like it when Lamborghini is not afraid to take it to the next level, something out of ordinary
