Awesome. I know 85% of the posts that follow this will say it sucks, but I think it looks amazing. The stance is right, the subtle flares are right, the front end is right. And it looks like they lined up the new grille with the headlights, as someone else suggested for the RL. I thought the new Accord should look like this...I'm happy to see they did it for the Acura.
For the most part. If memory serves, it's also the cucumber capital of Japan. Hence the home-market ads for the FT-86 featuring Takeichi-kun, the cartoon cucumber whose meteoric rise through the underground drift world has shamed him in the eyes of his school-master.
looks pretty nice, although the whole front fascia just seems a tad largely proportioned.

Huh? Do you mean you know you're high so you pay better attention to the road, or do you mean it actually helps you focus better? As in, you have a big test this morning so you chief a fat blunt so you can focus.
Just another generic looking sedan but with a stupid-ass front grille just to "look" different.
Oh well.
All fellow members of the Roman senate hear me. Shall we continue to build palace after palace for the rich? Or shall we aspire to a more noble purpose and build decent housing for the poor? How does the senate vote?

Well i don't know if i would go as far as to say it's amazing . Nice improvement yes, but amazing, no. this thing screams boring. it's like a decent looking girl wearing the wrong colour lipstick.....the grille is the lipstick.
I would drive this car, but it's a little too safe for my liking.

"That's not a speed limiter..........just a Porsche factory driver at the wheel of the GT-R.".
Looks muscular and over all very nice. Even the grill looks good, You can see for this car it was integrated into the design from the start unlike the RL where it looks tacked on.
Looks like the current TSX + some MDX styling cues (fenders, scalloped headlamps) + the RL grille...
The spyshots were pretty indicative of what the final product would look like, so I'm not too surprised with it. It looks good, though admittedly not Sports4 good.

On a forum where Audi and VW would win comparisons against everything short of a Ferrari, I find this comment hilarious.
Brands that make generic looking sedans with a different or outlandish grille just to look different:
Audi VW Ford Mercury Lincoln Chevrolet Acura
I could go on.
You can go on all you want.
These days you get either a generic looking sedan from Germany or a generic looking sedan from Japan.
The only difference is that Germans, don't go yelling out loud that their cars are 'Japanese designed'.

Not too bad. I guess Edmunds Inside Line should have more pics.

This place is is insane - the biggest complaint I hear in the Car Lounge is that VW's are too expensive when loaded up with options and yet when they want to decontent and lower the price, the complaints get even louder. You can't have it both ways.
Well it's not a write-off thats for sure, and I think it adds to what I felt the current TSX lacked, a more substantial presence overall. I always thought the current TSX looked great, but not enough to wear the coveted A badge. This car fits the lineup, but styling is no longer straight forward and consice, it is all over the board like many of the new sedans.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
Most of Acura's (and Honda's) designs have been uninspired, ugly, or both. This one isn't amazing but it's a heck of a lot better than their recent stuff. 1.5 thumbs up.
