Put a fuzzy roof on a Lincoln Town Car, and it's called pandering to those with a Caesar's Palace aesthetic. Do it on a baby European convertible, and it's instead "classic cabrio flair."
The new "Illusion" model is another iteration of the Opel Tigra TwinTop: its sole defining feature is that the two-seater’s electro-hydraulic retractable steel roof is covered in a Bordeaux red canvas, which gives the car, for better or worse, the soft-top look of a classic fabric-roofed cabrio.

Why doesn't GM sell the Tigra in the USA? Especially the common rail diesel version.

BUT...the old school Tigra in Gran Turismo 2, was a fantastic rally car...so..thats all that really matters right? I miss college.

How about some facts to back up your assertion that US sales would be poor?
Aren't 'quality' small fuel efficient cars selling surprisingly well in the USA - such as the BMW Mini?

Common problem with these tiny Euro coupe-convertibles. Check out the Nissan Micra .

All I saw was a red X and I'm soft. 2010 Toyota 4Runner with a 4-cylinder . As long as it's 2WD . And as long as it's with an old 4-speed automatic .

I figured a saturn upon further inspection i see it has right hand drive and is not a saturn but a tigra. Pretty cool, butt ugly car.
