Suzuki's got a long-standing tradition of introducing concept cars with no information to back the pictures up. First it was the Kizashi, a red shooting brake concept that was on display at Frankfurt. Then the Kizashi 2, which a similar car in white that was on display at Tokyo. Now, the company is preparing to show the third and final car in the Kizashi trio of concepts, the imaginatively dubbed Kizashi 3.
Like before, Suzuki isn't releasing any details of the car, other than saying it suggests both Suzuki’s future design direction and stated intent to offer a larger, more upscale sport sedan.
(As an aside, would anyone care to join me to chase down PR staffers who send out "teaser" sketches like they're worth getting excited about? Just be sure to arrive good an liquored up, and I'll supply the torches and pitchforks.)
yawn. roofline of a benz CLS and the grille from a VW GTI.
I agree with you, btw. I'll bring the torches.
Huh? That's a grille from a 98 Chrysler LHS!

From the A-pillar back, it reminds me of the Honda Sports4 concept. Looks attractive except the front bumper/grill...what's with the big tongue look now (not just the big grill anymore)?

So would VW be like Jack in the Box? Tastes great but once you take it home it gives you E. coli ?

I'm guessing this highly-stylized sketch actually conceals a near-production vehicle.
The difference there, to my eyes, is that the sketch you posted looks proportionally realistic (oval wheels notwithstanding). The greenhouse and overall shape of the car look consistent with something I might see on the road. The sketch of the Kizashi doesn't look proportionally correct for an actual vehicle. The greenhouse is way too low, even for one of those so-called modern "4 door coupes". The overly large wheels and tiny door handles also would have to change and would likely give the car a much different look both in presence and detail.
Frankly, I think it's incredibly derivative. Good looking, yes, but without a hint of originality. That's inexcusable for a concept car IMO.
