2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Revealed, Unofficially! Taking a quick break from the GM-gasm on the new El Camino of the past two days, it appears as though the Hyundai-hungry folks at the New Tiburon forums have blown a load of press shots out on to the web early on the new 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe before next week's New York Auto Show. Other than the hot shots, there doesn't appear to be much more to tell you. Well, based on one shot, it appears like the new kim-chee-crazy muscle car redlines at 6500 RPM, and, oh yes, it's one hot looking entry into the muscle car wars looking much different than the 2010 Hyundai Genesis RWD coupe concept we saw at the LA Auto Show last year. We're certainly looking forward to seeing it live on the show floor next week. Especially if they bring the same lovely lady they had in LA and who we've now affectionately named Genesis Priddy. All we know is this little deuce-door gets our thoughts all a-tingly. What about yours?
Trendsters all over the world are proudly holding up their Starbuck's mocha-frocha-half-caf-decaf-vanilla chai-drizzled with sperm whale semen-on-top-iattos for a cheers.

The Car Lounge is like the Roman Coliseum. It's spectators don't really care who "wins", as long as there's a ton of bloodshed.
"Human identity is no longer defined by what one does, but by what one owns. But we've discovered that owning things and consuming things does not satisfy our longing for meaning. We've learned that piling up material goods cannot fill the emptiness of lives which have no confidence or purpose." - Jimmy Carter, 1978
I think it looks better than an Accord Coupe or Toyota Solara, but I wouldn't consider the Genesis a good looking car.
Of course the Hyundai Genesis Coupe isnt a good looking car if your eyes are locked onto the manufacturer's badge!
I like it, once people get past the badge they will sleep better at night

"No, honey, you don't look retarded at all! I'm soo happy you cut your hair like I told you to [the girls will love this one. For my next trick I'll have him jump off the Brooklyn Bridge]"
I loved the previous M Coupe but the Z4 Coupe is not attractive at all

It looks good from some angles like the 3/4 view and the rear, but dang the front end looks bad and some of the proportions look weird. Also, those wheels are absolutely horrible and don't look sporty at all.

Huh? Do you mean you know you're high so you pay better attention to the road, or do you mean it actually helps you focus better? As in, you have a big test this morning so you chief a fat blunt so you can focus.

ehh, I wouldn't drive one of those, either. The last year of the Z3 version of the M Coupe had the same 333hp I6 as the Z4 M Coupe. I'd much rather have that!
You've seen it!... You've heard it!... and you're still asking questions?

$5 to the first person who turbos one and takes a pic of a massive backfire...then we can Photoshop "Korean BBQ" on it all day long. This thing's hotter than Masuimi Max on a bed of steamed rice.
I like everything about it except the front end. Hyundai needs to figure out something better than that black void with their H in the middle because it's ruining a lot of handsome vehicles.
Looks good! I will wait for a test drive, or reviews, to make any sort of dynamic judgments. It is curious that they have given this pony car the same name as their flagship luxury sedan. Maybe Hyundai is preparing to launch a "Genesis" division?

There are plenty of existing technologies that produce emissions free electricity. There isn't one single technology in the world that produces emissions free gasoline.
The rear end looks great and the side view looks nice and smooth, however I find the front end seems a little 'squashed down' instead of 'fatter and bolder' which I think would flow with the rest of the car a tad better. All in all, I think it'll do alright, similar to the Tiburon when it first came out.
Finally down to one car for everything: '02 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro (B6)
Sorry, I can't think of anything wittier for my signature.

No worse than the NIssan bucktooth.... The black grille is fine, hell people paint their grills black.
