"Nothing hurts worse than being beat over the head with the truth." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know where you live, but it must be the place where carnies come from.
For $2500 in the year 2008, I actually think it's pretty amazing.

+1 Ratan is da man.
The above is an excerpt from the best selling book Band of Boozers, a heroic tale of ordinary alcoholics thrown together in an extraordinary time. Experience this harrowing Wino War II tale as only those that drank it can slurr.
i'd love to see the 55 mph crash test of that baby.
You never will, I think it maxes out at 52mph

Based on what information? The target market for this car are people who currently haul a family of 4 on a moped or bicycle. This is a far better alternative.

I'd love to know how you determined the soul coefficient of a car through online photos.
Will there a bigger version of the Nano in the future? Why you ask? Because we need bigger Tata's!

"No, honey, you don't look retarded at all! I'm soo happy you cut your hair like I told you to [the girls will love this one. For my next trick I'll have him jump off the Brooklyn Bridge]"

do these people even have a PC to use the configurator?
I kinda dig it in white with steel wheels and that fading stripe.
I either carry my XD-45 or Kel-Tec .380. Depends on what I'm wearing... the XD-45 is a little large to conceal when wearing shorts. Extra ammo in a backpack in the trunk. Those goddamned zombie bastards aren't going to kill themselves. That's why. - medicracer

Many USA IT companies are outsourcing work to Tata... my company actually has several contractors from this company.. don't assume that people in India don't use computers because they don't all drive huge high-tech cars that get 5 mpg and cost $50,000+
2000 Jetta 1.8T : Working horn and that's about it.
I think this is the first time I have seen colors dictate whether you get alloy wheels, a/c, and power windows & locks.
But I would totally buy one of these instead of a moped, especially in Wisconsin.

America is NOT the terrible place that a generation of schoolteachers, professors, and other mind-shapers have convinced a generation of young people that it is. We are in a mess right now. But it is NOT because America, or its people are somehow deserving of troubles.

... joke.
plus, my deep seeded hatred of IT outsourcing... as I'm one of those wonderful Dell guys you USED to get to fix your PC over the phone that you could understand and didn't follow a script and actually knew how to FIX your PC without having to put you on hold every 2 seconds. That was a fun 6 months of unemployment.

Is that something you planned to do forever? Wouldn't you rather have some poor soul in India manning the phones so you can do something more interesting?
Btw, 'nano' doesn't refer to nano in the sense of 10^(-9), but 'nano' is a Gujurati/Parsi word for 'little'.

Wow, I speak Gujurati and that one slipped past me.
Never understood why decals are considered so cool over there. I remember the top of the line Tata's SUVs would all come with a helping of decals on the sides.
