I actually think that the swirls and pattern camo makes the thing look better.

Yes Martha, you can get your new 2010 Toyota 4Runner with a 4-cylinder. As long as it's 2WD. And as long as it's with an old 4-speed automatic.

How can this be a new BMW? There a no pointless and superfluous lines and creases in the body.

1. It's a lot bigger visually, in much the same way the D3 Audi A8 is much bigger visually than the D2.

2. Man, camo is getting weird.

3. I'll have to see it with no camo at all to pass judgement on it.

That camo is pretty effective at breaking up the lines, especially that side shot. You have to take a good look at it and try to visualize it without the stuff on there, and it's not easy.

It's really hard to say whether it's going to look good or not from these pics.

Probably some sort of distance counter to calibrate the speedo or other test equipment.

The car looks very toned down compared to the concept CS. Which is probably a good thing.

Nice! A tire mounted radio

It's style man. Style is everything. Style is not to be confused with class. A Mercedes Benz is class because it represents money; however, chilly dogs have absolutely no class but a great deal of style. And punk rock, new wave, whatever you have, reggae, rastafari, haircuts, what have you are all different kinds of styles. None of them, however, have any class. I got class.

Agreed but I like it that BMW is getting back to their roots a little bit. Very clean design from what I can see.

One night, I saw a drunk Aussie take a blowgun dart in the forehead when he jumped into the line of fire. Though, in fairness, the other drunk Aussie getting blown onstage by the same performer operating the blowgun with her nether regions may have thrown off her aim with a hip-thrust; she might have hit the balloon otherwise.

It's just strange given all the hooplah over flaming the past several years. I mean... there is utterly NO hint of a flame on that side. Not even a twinkle of light. It's non-flammable.

x2. probably used for tuning/R&D purposes. probably not for speed/distance, as they could just use GPS for that.

back on topic, looks like it'll be toned-down from the last-gen. the return of handsome BMWs??
