 Nissan Announces G37 Droptop« »

Take a look at the press release here, and you'll probably see the same thing we here at Motive, business-speak. While that is all well and good, it just doesn't get our blood pumping like, say, a new car announcement. But going over the release with a fine-toothed comb reveals just that. Nestled down at the bottom, Nissan hid quite the nice tidbit, it's new hardtop convertible, the G37.

Beyond that, not much is known, just that it will be launched alongside eight other new models, including the Cube, and the oddly named Bakkie's successor.

Should work well and a good natural move for the car.

I still wish it looked like the concept as the production lines are more feminine.

x2 Ever since the G37 has been out, something really turned me off to the car. I think you clearly stated it.

http://www.nissan.co.za/vehicles_bakkie.asp?s=2

I can't believe this thing is still being sold as new. It's a compact pickup based on the Nissan Sunny RWD running gear (~1976 ish?). Nissan used to sell it all over Asia and Africa but I thought it had been replaced by Navara. I guess it is still alive in South Africa.

I can't imagine what a new "Bakkie" would be based on... maybe a rebadged Dacia Logan pickup?

So, what is a bro? Is it like an ethnically non-descript guido?

Quote, originally posted by Turbiodiesel! »

Exactly. Closely related to brahs (bros who consume a lot of pot, reggae, and longboards), brohams (surfer bros) and dudebros (fraternity bros).
