"I can't help you unless you trust me," pleaded the married, sad-eyed, full-lipped, creamy-skinned, Nevada-raised honey of a therapist whom I'd been regaling for the last couple of months with tales of my global travels, women who wouldn't stay, and life in a stay-at-home chemical fog at the edge of the Port of Los Angeles. "We can use our mutual attraction to get to the heart of your abandonment issues."
Red flag. While I'm religious about traffic signals, I have a worrying propensity to chase a proffered crimson muleta in the manner of an Iberian bull stuck full of banderillas. Of course I decided to trust her. A week later, my often-insightful pal Alex was prompted to comment, "Johnson. Don't take this the wrong way, but you got this woman so into you that she crossed the line and had to drop the Nuclear Doctor Bomb on you to get out of it! You should be proud!"
Wow that's a beautiful car. I've never really been in Maseratis much. But I have to say, I think I "get it" with this car. Amazingly, it manages to look both modern and classic. It has the beautiful lines and styling of a 60s era Italian sports car....aside from the lights and wheels, it could have been designed made 40 years. Kudos.
The car looks BEAUTIFUL in that color. I've seen a few on the road but none looked as stunning as the one in the pics. *I've seen it in dark graphite, black, and red*
Also loved the way the article(?) was written. Made me realize that I need to do A LOT more reading. I need to google a few words to really grab the meaning of everything that was said;-P
State Route 341 from 395 to Virginia City happens to be one of the most thrilling roads I've ever driven
Agreed, I drove that road in a rented Hyundai a couple of years ago and it was an unexpected treat.
As for the article, I offer a hearty "WTF" and "keep up the good work."
Fox News: “The sky is green.” ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN: “Is the sky green? Our team of experts investigates.” Local news: “Is the sky green? We hit the street to find out what YOU think!” Online media/blogosphere: “It is well known that Al Gore and Dick Cheney conspired in 1998 to turn the sky red.”
I was beside a new Quattroporte on the highway a while back and oh my God the sweet, melodious sound that car made makes it worth the price of admission. The semi-automatic fired off the most perfect and sweet-sounding downshifts, bliping the throttle to match revs with each gear change. No high-end stereo can compete with the music that engine makes.

I'd love to know how you determined the soul coefficient of a car through online photos.
Yes! The road to VC is a wonderful road and I drive it as often and as fast as I can. The Hogs (AKA two wheeled motor homes) are almost always there to slow me down though.
I saw a beautiful blue GranTurismo about a month ago. Such a fine-looking machine--the most beautiful car to bear the crown emblem since the Ghibli. The Gran may be the second most beautiful car to come out of Italy this decade--the first being the Alfa 8C, of course. I'm divided over which one I lust for more: the Maser or the Aston Vantage Roadster.
