Well it seems that it's all but confirmed that we'll be getting an AWD G37 coupe in the fall.....question is, will it be available with a manual?
"Infiniti just released the 2009 G37 Coupe Ordering Guide. It includes the following:
Models ¡ G37x AWD Coupe Mechanical ¡ Intelligent All-Wheel Drive ¡ Electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and manual shift mode with Downshift Rev Matching Exterior ¡ Scratch Shield paint Interior ¡ Dial-type seat heater switches Color and Trim ¡ Add Moonlight White (QAA) ¡ Delete Ivory Pearl (QX1) ¡ Washi-finish trim replaces aluminum trim for driver and passenger interior door pull handles (does not apply for vehicles with African rosewood interior trim) Convenience ¡ Power door locks with automatic locking"

Make it in a manual and I'd think about it. 35K base for the current one. AWD is 2500 for the current G35 Sedan but no Manual option.
I'm willing to bet that a manual is coming, but they're waiting wither till the refresh or just as a added model to revitalize the line when it approaches it's end of life cycle.

200lbs give or take...so a 4000 lbs G37, as if it didn't weigh enough.
My 2 cents, why NOT offer it, especially since the G35 sedan has it. If anything Audi should worry some with the A5/S5.
Infiniti now has a very vast AWD lineup. Japanese Audi? EX CUV Hatchback thing G35x sedan G37x coupe M35x and the V-8 M45x FX has AWD avail QX is only AWD
So wow, their entire lineup now has it as an option.
based on looks and driving similar audi's and infiniti's i'd still take the A5 over a G37x coupe. course if i were deciding i'd need to drive both but i would go in with a bias to the audi.
choice is a great thing isn't it? I have a friend who's aunt wanted to buy a G37 coupe but was very uncertain because it's RWD only.....I delivered this news to her this morning and now she's exstatic .......living in Canada has it's drawbacks...automotivly speaking ofcourse.

So is AWD automatic an attempt to keep this guy from hitting the crubs while blogging about slaying skanks on his sidekick 3?
RON PAUL 2008!!! “Let me see if I get this right. We need to borrow $10 billion from China, and then we give it to Musharraf, who is a military dictator, who overthrew an elected government. And then we go to war, we lose all these lives promoting democracy in Iraq. I mean, what’s going on here?”
This should have a manual...Infiniti's always offered that before. It would seem to be a point of pride for them.

In all fairness, if this was posted in the MKIII/MKIV/MKV Forums, you'd probably get a much better reception. If the cover photo was dripping with HDR, you could probably hear the man-goo smacking their monitors.
Infiniti has never offered AWD with a manual transmission option.
Oops, I didn't know that. Being in Texas I have to admit I gloss over any discussion of AWD. I do know they're fans of manuals unlike Lexus.

I think that's one handsome looking car. It is probably still going to look good in 10 years.
All fellow members of the Roman senate hear me. Shall we continue to build palace after palace for the rich? Or shall we aspire to a more noble purpose and build decent housing for the poor? How does the senate vote?
That's fine by me--this thing'll still be sweet. I totally dig the G37 over the 335i. The Bimmer is superior, but the Infiniti is the better deal. It may not be as fast as the GT-R--it looks a hell of a lot better.
