AERODYNAMIC wheels and or wheel covers.« »

Im curious, are there any specifically made aerodynamic wheels?

Im assuming a disk type turbo wheel would be the complete opposite

What about the flat dish type wheels on civic hybrids? I always like those.

do you think the ET would fit my passat? rofl, im sure the center bore wouldnt fit or something along those lines

If you don't drive like a moron in bumper to bumper traffic, which is where 99% of motorists spend their time, then you don't need brake cooling to that much of a degree.

Common sense, people. The guy driving for economy isn't driving his car at LeMans.

Common sense isn't very common. And modern brakes work so well because they are very efficient at venting heat quickly. If you change that, then you change the way the your brakes work. But this will only be noticeably in long high speed hard stops- or repeated quick stops. So it may not be an issue.

EDIT: I thought you were just looking for wheels with a specific aero design in mind, not specifically ecomony-minded aerodynamics. Oh well.

I've always wondered why a variant on the late-eighties Penske Indycar wheelcovers didn't show-up as street-fashion. They look even better in black, but I couldn't find a photo:

By that very explanation, you don't need aero at 1mph either...

What do you mean its not giving you boost. A hose could have just blown off. What does the car sound like? If you want help, you need to approach the situation with a little more transparency. Maybe its not giving you boost because its keeping it all for itself, because of your attitude.

Looks like he tried to throw a pile of cash in the air and "make it rain". Due to the miniscule size of his cash pile, however, he only succeeded in making it lightly drizzle.

You can't do better than these:

Da troof! These are spun aluminum LAKESTER wheel covers.
Undoubtedly these are the most aerodynamic wheels made.
Normally they're affixed with sheet metal screws into the rims.
