No; I think it is an improvement, especially on dark colored cars. Unfortunately the whole front end is still a disaster. So this brings the front up to about a 4 from a 2.

It's style man. Style is everything. Style is not to be confused with class. A Mercedes Benz is class because it represents money; however, chilly dogs have absolutely no class but a great deal of style. And punk rock, new wave, whatever you have, reggae, rastafari, haircuts, what have you are all different kinds of styles. None of them, however, have any class. I got class. -David Lee Roth
Somebody email this thread to Acura executives, so they can have the proof they need to jump out of the nearest open window.
Nissan tried it with the Maxima, and it failed! Too bad you couldn't learn from their mistake Acura!

My Corolla hasn't broken down once since 2001, it's been paid off for most of that time, and it's about as satisfying as masturbating with a boxing glove.
The "color keyed" top grill panel does look better on the dark colored cars. But the design itself is just ghastly. I would love to know whose responsible for this huge botch job.
Being different for the sake of being different is not always good. This is one such case.

I don't like you but here's a present to ease the pain (it's a muffin)
Why anybody would trust a dealership to alter the appearance of their car is beyond me (pinstriping, anyone?).
Well, there aren't many ways in which you could paint a grill, and I think that these customers *asked* the dealers to paint their grills, so this post is

I think it might look better.....maybe...... ok it's still gross.
It's slightly better, but it still does not hide how BUSY that front end is. There's alot of unwanted or strange looking lines there, none of which seem cohesive at all.

I've noticed the "busy" factor in quite a number of new models lately. Especially in interiors. The new Mazda 6 has this dizzying array of lines intersecting all over the place. This kind of stuff makes you literally nauseated when you look at it. Your eyes just don't know what to settle on. Very annoying and make a design look cheap too.
