I doubt the Mustang with get IRS anytime soon considering the affordable aspect, and that most Mustang gear heads like IRS limiting drag racing over road racing.
I'll be curious if the turbo four Genesis coupe will be faster than the V6 Mustang, and which will be less expensive.
"straight roads are for fast cars, curvy roads are for fast drivers"
Wow, the V6 model is just going to get eaten for lunch by the Camaro V6 unless it is FAR cheaper on a cost-comparison basis.
Otherwise...I'm sure they will still sell plenty of V6 models to people who care only about owning a Mustang. Nice to see the interior is finally about what it should have been from day one. I've had one as a rental, and to say I was underwhelmed about the quality would be a gross understatement.

I'm a GM man but I can guarantee you that the Mustang will sell better, really no matter what. More people are just aware of the Mustang. It has always sold better and will continue to do so.
I'll take my stang in Grabber Blue, Sunset Gold, or Performance White.
I, too, was under the impression that the refresh was going to introduce the 3.5 to the Stang. With that said, I think I like this even more than the '05-present. It loses some of the 'front stoop' awkwardness to the front end, and it looks a little more like the '67, which I love.
"You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos, mother****er!"
I am completely in love with Grabber Blue. Looks a whole lot like Laguna Seca Blue which is one of my all-time favorite colors. I think this thing looks great. Damn, between this and the S2000 I am unsure what car I should pick.
For the most part. If memory serves, it's also the cucumber capital of Japan. Hence the home-market ads for the FT-86 featuring Takeichi-kun, the cartoon cucumber whose meteoric rise through the underground drift world has shamed him in the eyes of his school-master.

Purposefully making your car appeal only to knuckledraggers is a recipe for short term success and long term...well, we all know how the US auto industry is doing today.

Considering the Mustang ate the Camaro, Firebird, et al for lunch years ago and put them out business, you may want to retract your statement; or consider revising.

Except for the Mustang GT having more horsepower, torque, a more straight-line friendly suspension, and weighing 1/5 of a ton less, I'd venture a guess that you're probably right.
