"No, honey, you don't look retarded at all! I'm soo happy you cut your hair like I told you to [the girls will love this one. For my next trick I'll have him jump off the Brooklyn Bridge]"
Indeed, that car is pretty much the automotive equivalent of having angry sex with Angelina Jolie while duck-hunting with rocket-launchers alongside Satan himself.
Looks better than an xB (Xb?) in pictures, but I withhold final judgment until I see it and the Soul IRL.

Drifting, which tends to attract poorer, more marginal men, has also been an unlikely nexus between homosexuality, crime and jihadism since it emerged 30 years ago. Homoerotic desire is a constant theme in songs and poems about drifting, and accomplished drifters are said to have their pick of the prettiest boys among the spectators.
Indeed. I'm impressed they kept the overall design language even though the had to make it a little bigger for North America. definitely two thumbs up from me

I was just in Japan and these things are everyplace , I didnt think they would let them into the US with the lack of the rear piller in the corner but I guess so . Hate to see a rollover in one of those
I think I read in car and driver that its supposed to be around 15k, or in that territory. Think scion xb pricing I guess. And I believe it does come with awd via an electric motor.
I like the grill treatment of the last gen better, the rest looks great though!

Eh, what? There's a D-pillar.
What doesn't kill me only postpones the inevitable.
I know that we are supposed to want, need, and desire tiny cars designed in (and for) foreign lands, but I don't see the appeal of this thing. Its not that I don't like micro car or box-shaped card. This Cube is just a mess of organic shapes and big radiuses, as if it is ashamed of being a box on wheels. The whole message is a bit incongruous.

There are plenty of existing technologies that produce emissions free electricity. There isn't one single technology in the world that produces emissions free gasoline.

You don't get it dude, the Cube is not for you!

Then you'd REALLY hate to see one of these in a rollover! No pillars at all OMGWTF!!!!!1!
The rear of the car would look better if it wasn't so asymmetrical.
That's kind of the point.
So, with this and the Soul...who is going to buy the xB? Florida retirees?
"Everyone knows that the Car Lounge Car of the Year is the E36 M3, the answer to all transportation problems. Need to haul a family of 8 - M3! Tow a boat trailer - M3! Have only $15k to spend and want a Japanese car - M3!" -- Tom
For the most part. If memory serves, it's also the cucumber capital of Japan. Hence the home-market ads for the FT-86 featuring Takeichi-kun, the cartoon cucumber whose meteoric rise through the underground drift world has shamed him in the eyes of his school-master.
Here it is folks. It seems to stay true to the whole cube design theme.....not like the retarded new Xb:

I am assuming the brake lights are covered by the white plastic? I think I like it. I am still unsure about the front end. I am still a huge fan of the original.
