 Motive Gear: Motive's 2008 Holiday Gift Guide« »

Regardless of whether you give gifts for Christmas, Chanukah, or Kwanzaa, you have just a couple of weeks left to get your shopping done. Or, if you're like us, you have only a couple more weeks to make sure those around you have fully absorbed your heavy hints about what you really want this year. In case your loved ones regard you as one of those guys who has everything (meaning there is nothing left to buy you), we've assembled a little list to remind them that you indeed do not have it all just yet.

Cool ideas, and with the possible exception of the Pilotis, not anything that's been shown over and over again every year .

I'd actually love to have a pair of driving shoes, but unfortunately they assume that most race car drivers (and rightfully so I suppose) are going to have normal to narrow feet... no love for those of us sporting E width feet.

I got a pair of piloti's earlier this year and they aren't that narrow... i have rather wide feet and going a half size larger on the length made the shoes fit extremely comfortable. I'll take a look at my pair and see if i ordered a special width.

Cool... I haven't had a chance to try them on because retailers seem few and far between, but every picture I've seen of Pilotis scare me and my hobbit feet.

You should pick up the phone and give them a call. Some of their shoes actually fit wider feet pretty well. We have a guy on staff with wide feet who loves his Pilotis. IIRC, he has Mulholland IIs, but I could be wrong. Either way, they have have some fitments that should work for you.
