"We be jammin' now, mon!" Billy said, toasting The Breeze with a slosh of the Coors. The Breeze shook his head balefully. "Keep the can down, watch the road, let me roll the doobie," he said. "Sorry, Breeze," Billy said. "I'm just stoked that we're on the road."
Those camero guys are lucky, Oshawa has the best record for efficiency and build quality of all the GM plants. Prob why their biggest publicity car is being built there.

03 Nissan 350z Performance edition (with lots of performance stuff..) 04 S4 Black/Black. Love the V8 power.
OLD: 98 Talon TSi 12.12@114mph, Mid 11's on new motor. 02 CBR600F4i 11.4 @ 126mph. Got Wheelies? 95 GTi VR6 on DP Nitrous. (mightyvr6.com baby.. Long gone..)
It would be nice to see the "muscle" in the engine bay like the Audi motor in the RS4, sad that they cover it up. It would complete the car nicely I think.

Trust me, the LSx engine aren't any fun to look at anyway. You aren't missing anything.

There's a photo with many body shells ready to be assembled.
Saw a picture with some odd number of shells waiting.. but the production line pictures are very sparse.. like three at a time..
So that is what makes me believe it was a test run or just a "photo op" run.. cause in all reality a full steam ahead production line should have way more cars at a time..
Unless their new way of making sure the cars are well put together is doing it slow.. just so nothing slips by..
IIRC (and its been about 20 years since I worked in an Asm Plant), the bump strip of road at the Ford plant I was at was a part of a test to check on the obvious (suspension/tires/wheels) to not so obvious (welds). I recall a tear down periodically to check quality of welds after running such a course... to death.
I believe the full-production date is 17 March, could still be give-or-take a few days.
Yep. One sure way to tell is the lack of parts inventory all around the line. Once they're up and running all that empty space will be full of bins with parts in them, and forklift operators making $80k/year filling them up!
^^^^ I was just going to say... Way too much plastic in that engine bay...
Who wants to see a V6 anyway? Just don't put a cover on the eight.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
Indeed, that car is pretty much the automotive equivalent of having angry sex with Angelina Jolie while duck-hunting with rocket-launchers alongside Satan himself.
this car doesn't excite me. The new Challenger really gets me going, the new Crustang might have something going for it, but this car just seems like a turd-cake to me. no interest whatsoever
