I was just looking at another thread and I saw a nice camaro. I absolutely love the Camaro's interior except for ONE thing.....the handbrake / ebrake/ Penis-like protruding brake whatever you want to call it. The interior is so well put together except for that one nuisance. Why couldn't they make it flow better with the interior? Anybody else feel the same way I do about ugly handbrakes?
Does your pecker have a kink in it like the handbrake pictured? I'd go get that checked out.

I use a Mach3, those are the best IMO. usually make my way from the outer cheeks to the inner cheek aka butthole. gotta be careful if you have a wrinkly butthole
I dunno about stupid looking handbrakes (nothing really comes to mind) but I think this has perfect e-brake execution.

huge ExxonMobil fan here, have their posters plastered all over my wall.Same with most of my friends. Their just such a a great company overall and I admire that.
Days I wheel through the valley of the shadow of death. I fear no breakdown. Thy pushrod and thy stuff protect me. My coolant expansion tank overfloweth.
Mocha Brown 2008 Passat 3.2 V6 in Highline trim: 4Motion, DSG+Paddle shifters, 18" Le Mans wheels, Sport Suspensions, KESSY, Parallel Parking Assist, RNS 510 3D touch screen NAV+30GB HDD , Bi-Xenon+Cornering headlights, Alcantara/Leather electric sport seats with massage function, 12 Airbags, CD Changer, AUX input, 2 integrated child seats
I hate these. I don't want to have to be fully stopped to have to engage my pbrake (I sometimes do it while the car is still rolling slightly), and I don't like waiting for them to release when I'm in a hurry or when starting on a very steep uphill incline.
The one in the Camaro is fine. It doesn't touch the driver's knee, is simple and it frees up the console.

I tried the handbrake on a Saab at an autoshow and proceeded to get my finger pinched in it while letting it out.... Pinch points on a car on regularly used areas = terrible design. And no one give me the your fault/should have known BS... I just used it like I would a normal handbrake and it tried to lop a finger off... this should not happen... ever.

The Passat parking brake works on all wheels at all speeds - The one I tried went so far as to engage the ABS system... It electronically lets go when stepping off the line.

Indeed. It isn't a foot parking brake, and has a stick shift.

What is there to not like about it? Modified by Live-Wire at 1:14 PM 5-3-2009
There's a split second of lag and you're not fully in control of it all. It's not a real impediment but I have a car react to my own physical inputs more than on its own.
I cant stand parking brakes that are on the passenger side of the center console. they must be in the middle, aesthetically, I think it looks much better. It also needs to be an actual cable actuated brake. I cant stand the ones that are electronic or the ones operated by your foot.

Clarkson is kind of like an elephant. tramples everything without really thinking about it. an angry elephant.
I don't like parking brakes that always look like they are engaged:
C6 Corvette:
Except that one is engaged.
Here it is at "rest"
Still not flush, but not as pronounced as the pic you posted either.

It's like a comic-book charicature of a C1.5 Corvette, set in a retrofuturistic fantasy land where men still wear hats and carry briefcases, but they ride a rocket pack to work.
I like that alfa's handbrake. there's something so 80's-tastic about it. plus, it fulfills my personal requirement of being in the middle, yet it still leaves room for that center cubby between the seats.

This is probably a love-it/hate-it detail, but I always thought the CRV's dash-integrated handle made light of a serious subject like parked vehicle safety.
I've always hated the Civic handbrakes. Reminds me of a dolphin's cawk or something
Do you spend a lot of time evaluating dolphin cawk?

Except that if you keep your thumb at the end of the handle when lowering it, it'll get squeezed between the handle and the center console.
Interesting, I've used it a lot and never had a problem with pinching...
