Thought I would show some of you a MKII painting I did a few years ago. You might know the car (Momentum rear engined car). Here is the link to the rest of my paintings in the art and design section:

Not a bad idea. I was thinking of maybe doing a GTI or ? and making some prints, t-shirts or something. Maybe this winter i'll get something "VW" going. I'm in collector car /Porsche painting mode and have a couple I need to get done first.

Were those 18s? I know that Privat was a sponsor so you know you have to make them happy, but I thougt they were 17s. Can't remember. That car is long gone I believe...

Thanks to all for the compliments. It means a ton!

from one artist to another, you do phenomenal work

I've tried my hand at painting a number of times, but it's very different from my usual mediums (ink, tattoo or graf). The minute detail in your work blows me away. Are most of these pretty big?

It was a commission, so I painted as he wanted. I believe the rear was lowered for the painting. The car was about 85% finished when I took the ref. photos, so it might have been lower in finished form. That first image makes it look really washed out. If you look at the roll bar the "black" inside the cabin should be really black, not so light. Same w/ the bumpers. Here is a slightly better image:

Thanks so much. I think most would be 18x24 framed. The MGTC was about 26x34 framed or something close to that. I love trying to put in as much detail as my hand and eyes will allow.:

Funny I look at tattoo artists and graffiti artists and think " man I wish I could do that". I went to college in CT. with some pretty amazing tattoo artists. Look up Jay Crokett if you get a chance.

windows are like painting black cars. What you see is really just reflections of the surroundings or sometimes just a washed out view of what is beyond the glass. That probably makes no sense.
Yes, I paint all kinds of stuff:

I would love to paint a Rallye. Anyone in the southeast want to volunteer to let me photograph their Rallye for a painting. There is the problem.... not many around.
I know there was one in Ga. and a couple in the northeast. Im in CT from time to time so maybe next visit up there I can arrange a meeting w/ someone.
Seriously, If anyone knows of one in the southeast, I would love to paint it. (If its in nice shape which I'm sure it would be)
